54th Meeting of the EBID Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of EBID held its 54th ordinary session on Thursday, July 6 2017, at the Headquarters of the Bank in Lome, Togolese Republic.

Five (5) private sector projects were approved specifically, the partial financing in the amount of fifteen million US dollars ($15 000 000) for the construction of the Hilton Chelsea Hotel, Ikoyi in Lagos (Federal Republic of Nigeria);  participation in the in the amount of three billion CFA francs (FCFA3billion) in the financing of the construction of a cashew nut processing plant at Tiebissou (Republic of Côte d’Ivoire).

The three other projects approved by the Board were the partial financing of a palm oil refinery at Bonoua by NADA Oil West Africa (Côte d’Ivoire) in the amount of four billion CFA francs (FCFA4billion); a three billion CFA francs (FCFA3billion) line of credit to Fidelis Finance (Burkina Faso) and another line of credit to Banque de l’Habitat du Senegal PLC, in the amount of seven billion CFA francs (FCFA7billion).
